Role & Company / Project Overview: SSF Plastics India Limited is hiring a hands-on QA Manager from a rigid plastic packaging background to oversee and own quality systems, customer confidence, and compliance across its manufacturing plant in Hosur. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Lead and develop a quality team comprising 25 to 30 members. • Own end-to-end quality assurance from incoming raw materials to final product release. • Maintain and strengthen ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and BRCGS Packaging quality management systems. • Meet the stringent quality requirements of FMCG, Food & Beverage, EMS, and Pharma customer segments. • Manage customer complaints, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and customer audits. • Coordinate directly with customers and suppliers regarding all quality-related matters. • Analyse quality data, identify trends, and report key quality performance metrics to senior management. • Ensure adherence to SEDEX ethical and social compliance standards. • Conduct quality awareness and training programs across internal departments. • Drive quality ownership across production operations and supporting functions. Technical Knowledge Required: • Strong technical understanding of rigid packaging processes including Extrusion Blow Moulding (EBM), Injection Blow Moulding (IBM), Injection Moulding (IM), and Injection Stretch Blow Moulding (ISBM). • Knowledge of secondary operations like wadding, sleeving, and printing is an added advantage. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 12 to 14+ years in Quality Management, preferably within plastic processing or rigid packaging industries. • Educational Qualification: B.Sc, B.Tech, PGD-PPT, CIPET or equivalent qualification. • Hands-on working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and BRCGS Packaging systems. • Prior experience with SEDEX compliance. • Demonstrated experience independently handling customer audits. • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical problem-solving skills. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Plant Location: SIPCOT Industrial Complex, Hosur, Tamil Nadu – 635126, India. • Onsite plant manufacturing role. Compensation & Benefits: • CTC: ₹10,00,000 to ₹12,00,000 per annum (₹10–12 LPA).
