Arbeit und Leben DGB/VHS Hamburg e. V. is seeking a consultant for the project 'handicap'. The role involves advising works councils, staff councils, and disabled employee representatives to sensitize companies towards employing and training severely disabled individuals and to consolidate the concept of inclusion in workplaces. Responsibilities include consulting on participation of disabled people in working life (SGB IX, Part 3) focusing on prevention, inclusion, and rehabilitation, covering employer obligations and rights of severely disabled people, tasks of disabled representatives, inclusion agreements, and company integration management (BEM); outreach consulting and support for representative bodies; conducting lectures and in-house training; moderating the development of inclusion agreements and BEM; creating expert articles, work aids and informational materials; preparing summaries and reports on project work and results; cooperating with committees and institutions in the field; maintaining networks and contacts. Qualifications include a university degree preferably in law, psychology, education or adult education, experience in consulting, knowledge in rehabilitation and participation of people with disabilities, knowledge of works of company representative bodies, willingness for teamwork and independent work, proficient in Microsoft Office standard programs. The position offers flexible working hours, mobile work option, subsidy for job ticket (Deutschlandticket), binding to the collective agreement of the Labour Law Association Hamburg (TV AVH), company pension scheme (VBLU), 30 days holiday per year, days off at Christmas and New Year's Eve, annual special payment (Christmas bonus), central workplace.
