We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our growing analytics team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the BFSI domain and a strong command of data analytics/engineering, visualization, and automation tools. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw data into actionable business insights, building scalable dashboards, and working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making. You will also play a key role in automating repetitive reporting workflows, ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and accessibility across the organization. Must Have - Hands-on experience in the BFSI domain. Roles & Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau (or any other dashboarding tool) to support business stakeholders. Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate data from relational databases and data warehouses. Develop Python-based automation scripts to streamline repetitive reporting, data processing, and reconciliation tasks. Track and manage analytics tasks, sprints, and documentation using JIRA and Confluence. Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in large datasets and present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. Technical Skills (Must Have): SQL - Advanced querying, joins, window functions, stored procedures; Python + Git - Pandas, NumPy, automation scripting, data wrangling; AWS - Redshift Data warehousing, cluster management, query optimization; Automation - Scripted pipelines, scheduled jobs, ETL automation; Tableau / Power BI / Dashboarding - Dashboard design, KPI tracking, report publishing; Confluence - Documentation. Non-Technical Skills: Problem Solving - Ability to break down complex business problems and design data-driven solutions with minimal supervision; Stakeholder Management - Proven ability to communicate insights clearly to diverse audiences, including senior leadership, product teams, and operations; Communication - Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset; Adaptability - Comfortable working in fast-paced, agile environments while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
