Role & Company / Project Overview: We are urgently hiring an experienced Senior Powertrain / Mechanical Engineer for a contract opportunity in Evans, Georgia. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Automotive / vehicle powertrain engineering design, analysis, and execution • Working on powertrain systems including ICE, electric motors, CVTs, or transaxles • Mechanical design and mechanical analysis • Executing DFMEA, DVP&R, risk analysis, and engineering validation • Managing engineering specifications and change management processes • Collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional teams • Applying strong project management and problem-solving skills • Utilizing 8D / 9-Step problem-solving methodologies Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Proven automotive / vehicle powertrain engineering experience • Strong hands-on knowledge of powertrain systems such as internal combustion engines (ICE), electric motors, CVTs, or transaxles • Expertise in mechanical design & analysis • In-depth experience with DFMEA, DVP&R, risk analysis & validation • Demonstrated track record in engineering specifications and change management • Solid background in supplier & cross-functional team collaboration • Strong project management and problem-solving skills • Experience with 8D / 9-Step problem-solving is a strong plus Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Evans, Georgia, United States • Work Type: Contract opportunity Compensation & Benefits: • Competitive contract rate based on experience Application Instructions: • Interested candidates can submit an updated resume or reach out via direct message.
