Role & Company / Project Overview: Global Connect Technologies is hiring a Senior Control Systems Engineer with strong experience in embedded controls, control algorithm development, MATLAB/Simulink, and C/C++ to support advanced off-highway machine systems. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Design, develop, validate, and deploy closed-loop control algorithms and embedded control software for off-highway machine systems. • Develop plant models and perform MIL/SIL/HIL testing, controller tuning, calibration, and system validation. • Work with embedded ECUs, generated code, machine control systems, and vehicle communication networks. • Provide technical leadership and participate in design reviews. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Must Have: Embedded controls / control systems experience. • Must Have: MATLAB / Simulink / Stateflow. • Must Have: C / C++ embedded programming. • Must Have: Control algorithm development – PID / Feed-Forward / Gain Scheduling. • Must Have: Model-Based Design & Embedded Coder. • Must Have: MIL / SIL / HIL testing. • Must Have: CAN / SAE J1939 / ISO 11783. • Must Have: ECU integration & calibration. • Must Have: Embedded debugging & troubleshooting. • Must Have: Git / CI pipelines. • Must Have: Unit testing / regression testing. • Must Have: Control theory & state estimation. • Preferred: Electro-Hydraulic Systems. • Preferred: Pump / valve control or hydrostatic transmissions. • Preferred: ISO 25119 / IEC 61508 / ISO 13849. • Preferred: RTOS / AUTOSAR. • Preferred: Python or MATLAB scripting. • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Control Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
