• Role & Company / Project Overview BridgePoint Recruiters is seeking an experienced Assembly Manufacturing Engineer to support advanced fuel injector assembly and testing operations in the automotive and fuel systems industry. This role focuses on driving manufacturing excellence, process improvements, and operational efficiency. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Support assembly processes, testing operations, and equipment troubleshooting. - Drive manufacturing process improvements and operational efficiency across lines. - Analyze test failures and implement effective corrective actions. - Develop and maintain comprehensive APQP documentation. - Prepare, update, and manage Process Flow Diagrams, Control Plans, and PFMEA. - Collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and production teams. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - 3+ years of relevant manufacturing and assembly engineering experience. - Industry experience in Automotive / Fuel Systems preferred. - Core competencies: APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow, Assembly & Testing, Root Cause Analysis, and Continuous Improvement. - Strong background in equipment troubleshooting and failure analysis. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Pontiac, Illinois, USA - Duration: 12-Month Contract (W-2) • Compensation & Benefits - Pay Rate: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour on W-2. - Sponsorship support where available and applicable. • Application Instructions Interested candidates should submit an updated resume to the designated recruiting contact.
