We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Erbil. Key responsibilities include preparing and maintaining accurate financial records and reports, overseeing general ledger functions including reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls, supporting internal and external audits, guiding junior accounting staff, and collaborating with other departments. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience preferably in a senior role, strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting, experience with ERP systems and accounting software, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and a CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent certification is an advantage. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are essential.
