We are currently hiring for Planning Engineer. Location: Dubai, UAE. Eligibility: Immediate joiners or candidates currently serving their notice period only. Experience: 8–10 years of experience in planning and project scheduling as Contractor. The Planning Engineer is responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating detailed project schedules to ensure timely completion of construction or engineering projects. The role involves preparing baseline programs, tracking project progress, and analyzing schedule performance against planned milestones. Core Responsibilities: Develop detailed project schedules, including baseline, revised, and recovery programs using tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project. Prepare work breakdown structures (WBS) and define project activities, sequencing, and dependencies. Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly based on site progress and contractor inputs. Track critical path activities and identify potential delays or bottlenecks. Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, including S-curves, dashboards, and performance analysis. Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, procurement, and subcontractors to align planning with execution. Perform delay analysis and support claims or extension of time (EOT) documentation when required. Forecast project completion timelines and suggest mitigation/recovery plans for delays. Assist in resource planning, including manpower, equipment, and material requirements. Review contractor/subcontractor schedules and ensure alignment with the master project schedule. Maintain project planning documentation and ensure compliance with contract requirements. Support project control activities, including cost and schedule integration where applicable.
