We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join a prestigious Oil & Gas project in Qatar. The role involves providing electrical engineering support for projects, operations, and maintenance activities. Key responsibilities include understanding Single Line Diagrams (SLD), electrical symbols, and legends for high voltage systems up to 132kV. The candidate must interpret schematic diagrams of PDB, LDB, and 415V LV Switchgear, demonstrate knowledge of electrical equipment such as transformers, relays, UPS, motors, generators, cables, and capacitors, and understand power system fundamentals including protection systems. Familiarity with relevant IEC standards, hazardous area requirements, and electrical safety practices is essential. The position also involves reviewing Scope Deviation Requests and supporting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT). The initial contract is for 2 years with possible extension. Work schedule: Single status: 12 weeks on / 2 weeks off; Couple status: 30 days annual leave. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and minimum 6 years of engineering experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
