Role & Company / Project Overview: Synoelec is growing its North America team and is seeking a Customer Technical Engineer / Manager based in the Detroit, Michigan area (with remote flexibility) to support continued growth across Automotive, Energy Storage, AIDC, and other electrification applications. This position goes beyond traditional technical support, operating at the intersection of technical customer leadership and detailed hands-on engineering. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Work closely with key customers to lead technical discussions and deeply understand system requirements. • Drive product selection and design-in activities across electrification projects. • Coordinate validation and qualification efforts. • Support projects end-to-end from early development through production phases. • Operate at the detailed engineering level by reviewing specifications and engineering drawings. • Perform in-depth application analysis. • Support testing and troubleshooting activities. • Coordinate closely with global R&D and engineering teams. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Professional background and experience in circuit protection, high-voltage electrical systems, EV (Electric Vehicles), BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems), power electronics, or related electrification industries. • Demonstrated capability to review technical specifications/drawings and conduct technical troubleshooting/application analysis. • Strong cross-functional and international communication skills for liaising with key clients and global R&D teams.
