We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead our transportation operations and ensure seamless vehicle placement across our network. Key Responsibilities: Strong knowledge of the transportation market and ability to source vehicles at competitive rates for RFQs and spot requirements. Manage and control lorry hire costs through effective vendor and broker negotiations. Ensure 100% vehicle placement against customer requirements and committed timelines. Directly engage with brokers and transporters to arrange vehicle placements when regular channels are unable to fulfill demand. Resolve broker and transporter disputes promptly to maintain operational continuity. Arrange vehicle placements for new business opportunities, new lanes, and new locations. Monitor fleet availability and market trends to ensure uninterrupted service delivery. Lead, mentor, and manage the operations team while ensuring achievement of team KRAs and performance targets. Coordinate with sales, customer service, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution of transportation operations. Maintain service quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in FTL transportation operations. Strong transporter and broker network across key markets. Expertise in vehicle sourcing, freight negotiation, and capacity management. Excellent negotiation and conflict-resolution skills. Team management and leadership experience. Strong analytical and communication skills.
