Role & Company / Project Overview Symploreus is hiring a LIMS Support Specialist with strong experience in laboratory systems, VB.NET, and instrument interfaces for a contract opportunity in Davenport, IA. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Provide end-to-end LIMS application support and technical troubleshooting. • Develop, maintain, and support applications using VB.NET and Visual Studio. • Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory instrument interfaces. • Execute SQL queries, database operations, and data integration tasks. • Support sample management and laboratory testing workflows. • Conduct regression testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and coordinate defect resolution. • Follow SDLC processes within Agile/Waterfall frameworks and ensure complete project and compliance documentation. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • Solid background in LIMS application support and troubleshooting. • Strong hands-on experience in VB.NET and Visual Studio. • Proven experience interfacing with laboratory instruments. • Proficiency in SQL and data integration. • Working knowledge of sample management and testing workflows. • Practical experience in regression, integration, and UAT testing. • Expertise in root cause analysis and defect resolution. • Familiarity with SDLC, Agile, Waterfall methodologies, and technical documentation. • Experience supporting laboratory operations, quality testing, and compliance processes is highly preferred. • Eligible work authorizations: EAD, USC, TN, L2.
