### Role & Company / Project Overview DCS Jobs is hiring experienced Medical Coders specializing as Surgery Coders. This is an exciting career opportunity for qualified professionals in the healthcare domain to build their career with an organization focused on accuracy, compliance, and better healthcare delivery. ### Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Perform accurate medical coding for surgical procedures in accordance with established coding guidelines, compliance standards, and payer requirements. • Review medical documentation, operative reports, and surgical charts to assign accurate diagnosis and procedure codes. • Ensure high levels of coding accuracy and maintain compliance benchmarks. • Participate in review meetings, quality audits, and coding performance evaluations. ### Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • Medical Coding Certification is Mandatory. • Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in medical coding with a focus on surgical specialties. • Relieving Letter / Document: Mandatory / Not Mandatory. • Notice Period: 15 Days. ### Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details • Job Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. • Work Mode: Work From Office (WFO). • Interview Mode: Walk-in / Virtual Interview. ### Compensation & Benefits • Competitive salary based on current CTC, expected CTC, and candidate experience. ### Application Instructions • Interested candidates should apply by sharing an updated resume along with current CTC, expected CTC, notice period, and preferred location.
