Role & Company / Project Overview: We are seeking an experienced Surgery Coder / QA specialist to review and audit operative reports in Chennai. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Review operative reports and surgical documentation to code surgical procedures accurately. • Verify surgical modifiers, global surgical packages, bundled services, and NCCI edits. • Conduct detailed quality audits on surgical claims to ensure billing accuracy and reduce denials. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Minimum 1+ year of specialized experience in surgical medical coding and quality assurance. • Strong understanding of surgical procedures, human anatomy, ICD-10-PCS, CPT surgical section, and NCCI edits. • High accuracy and auditing capability.
