• Role & Company / Project Overview: We are seeking an experienced General Surgery Medical Coder to join our US Healthcare operations in Chennai. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Review operative notes, medical records, and surgical documentation for General Surgery cases. - Assign appropriate CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes accurately. - Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance with US Healthcare coding conventions. - Address queries and clarify documentation gaps with clinical staff or supervisors. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Minimum 2+ years of specialized coding experience in General Surgery. - Strong expertise in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding standards. - Mandatory professional medical coding certification (e.g., CPC, COC, or equivalent). - Eligibility: Immediate joiners only.
