• Role & Company / Project Overview: We are hiring an experienced EM IP (Evaluation & Management Inpatient) Coder for our US Healthcare medical coding operations in Chennai. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Code complex inpatient Evaluation and Management (EM IP) hospital records and physician charts. - Assign accurate diagnostic, procedure, and modifier codes using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS code sets. - Review clinical documentation to ensure accurate diagnosis capture and coding compliance. - Maintain high standards of coding accuracy and productivity. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Demonstrated prior experience in Evaluation and Management Inpatient (EM IP) coding. - Comprehensive understanding of US Healthcare inpatient coding guidelines, ICD-10, and CPT systems. - Mandatory medical coding certification (e.g., CPC, CIC, or equivalent). - Eligibility: Immediate joiners only.
