We are seeking a Power Plant Manager to support engineering, maintenance, and operational excellence at a two-unit coal-fired power station that provides reliable energy to cooperative member-owners. As a Power Plant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting plant operations, equipment reliability, capital projects, and process improvements. You will collaborate closely with operations, maintenance teams, contractors, and leadership to ensure safe and efficient plant performance. Key responsibilities include: coordinating preparation and review of construction drawings for plant process equipment, supporting design, installation, and commissioning of new equipment, working with contractors and vendors, identifying technical training needs, initiating and managing capital improvement and O&M projects, monitoring safety compliance, and maintaining engineering records. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required, strong understanding of mechanical systems and plant operations, and excellent analytical skills. This is a full-time position with a base salary of $90,000 – $120,000 per year, plus competitive compensation and long-term career stability.
