We are seeking an experienced Python Developer (m/f/d) for an internationally operating client. This is a primarily remote role based in Berlin, Germany, with 95% remote work and 5% on-site presence. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and developing Python web applications to ensure stable operation, analyzing tickets, logs, and monitoring data for error and root cause identification, fixing program errors with source code solutions, implementing minor improvements and optimizations, managing source code via Git including pull requests and coordinated changes, adhering to coding standards and creating test cases for quality assurance, performing deployments across test, acceptance, and production environments with prior quality checks, managing tickets from intake to completion with documentation, and maintaining technical documentation in code, wiki, and supplementary documents. Qualifications require 5 years of experience in Python development with Flask/Dash, Pandas, Numpy (FastAPI and React are a plus), expertise in data processing with Python accessing various data sources (SQL databases, CSV files), at least 1 year of experience with Kubernetes (Openshift) and Helm Charts, proven responsibility for non-functional requirements such as scalability, performance, data consistency, and operational security, ability to translate complex requirements into robust data and application architectures, and German language skills at C1 level or higher. Nice-to-have includes experience with internal stakeholders and energy market or electrical engineering knowledge. Contract type is employment preferred.
