The Project Manager will lead the overall implementation of the project and provide strategic, operational and technical leadership for promoting tribal community enterprises in the Bastar Division, Chhattisgarh. The role is responsible for developing viable business models, strengthening producer institutions, facilitating market linkages, and ensuring that supported enterprises become commercially sustainable. Key responsibilities include: promoting and strengthening community-owned enterprises and producer institutions across forest and agriculture-based value chains including tamarind, mahua, bamboo, millets, mushrooms and pulses; developing enterprise business plans, growth strategies, value addition models and market systems for commercialization; building market linkages, stakeholder partnerships and convergence with government schemes, financial institutions, private sector buyers and support agencies; strengthening aggregation, processing, quality assurance, branding and market access; and leading project implementation, team coordination, monitoring, reporting and stakeholder engagement. Requirements: Postgraduate degree in Rural Management, Agribusiness Management, Rural Development, Social Work, Development Studies, Agriculture, Forestry, MBA or related disciplines; minimum 8-10 years of professional experience in livelihoods, enterprise development, value chain development, or market systems development; at least 5 years of experience in managing field-based livelihood or producer organization promotion; demonstrated experience in promoting, incubating or strengthening community-owned enterprises; proven track record of facilitating market linkages; and experience working with tribal communities.
