Carter's Behavioral Health Center is seeking compassionate and motivated Maryland Certified Alcohol and Drug Trainees (ADT) to join our team. We provide Substance Use Disorder and Mental Health treatment services throughout Maryland, including Residential, PHP, IOP, OP, and Community-Based services. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals seeking hands-on clinical experience while working toward advanced certification within a multidisciplinary treatment environment. The ADT will assist in delivering substance use disorder treatment services under appropriate supervision in accordance with Maryland Board requirements and organizational policies. Responsibilities include treatment planning support, case management, psychoeducational groups, documentation, and recovery support services. Responsibilities: Facilitate psychoeducational and recovery-oriented groups. Assist with assessments, treatment planning, and discharge planning. Maintain accurate clinical documentation. Participate in treatment team meetings. Support clients in achieving treatment goals. Conduct case management and community resource linkage. Monitor client participation and progress. Assist with crisis intervention and client support services. Maintain compliance with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, COMAR regulations, and organizational policies. Participate in supervision and professional development. Qualifications: Current Maryland ADT certification required. High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Health, Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Counseling, or related field preferred. Knowledge of substance use disorder treatment and recovery principles preferred. Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to ethical practice and client-centered care.
