Role & Company / Project Overview: Synergy Data Inc is hiring an experienced Business Analyst 3 for a contract assignment supporting a Texas state government project with the Railroad Commission of Texas (RRC). Solicitation ID: 4552730137. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Gather, analyze, and document business and reporting requirements. • Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations. • Analyze datasets and investigate data discrepancies through root-cause analysis. • Document data flows, reporting logic, and detailed technical requirements. • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), implementation, user training, and reporting enhancements. • Assist with data reporting and publishing initiatives. • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendor partners. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Strong proven experience in business requirements gathering and analysis. • Demonstrated experience translating complex business requirements into technical solutions. • Hands-on expertise in Power BI dashboard development and reporting. • Strong proficiency in Snowflake and advanced SQL. • Solid experience in data analysis, data validation, and root-cause analysis. • Experience with report development, data extracts, and comprehensive documentation. • Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), user training, and implementation support. • Experience working with legacy data systems, ETL processes, and reporting workflows. • Preferred: Industry experience in Oil & Gas and prior experience on Texas state government projects.
