Role & Company / Project Overview: RAPS Consulting is hiring an experienced Data Engineer specializing in Microsoft Fabric for a 12–24 months contract position located in Newark, NJ. The position requires designing, developing, and optimizing end-to-end data pipelines and building scalable, reusable data frameworks. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Design, develop, and optimize robust end-to-end data pipelines. • Build scalable, reusable enterprise data frameworks. • Develop ETL/ELT pipelines and implement data modeling solutions. • Implement and manage Spark Notebooks and pipeline orchestration workflows. • Work with Azure Data Services and implement CI/CD processes for data infrastructure. • Deliver high-performance, scalable data engineering solutions. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 10+ years of professional experience in data engineering. • Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric and Azure Synapse Analytics. • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Apache Spark (PySpark). • Extensive experience in ETL/ELT pipeline design, data architecture, and data modeling. • Experience with Spark Notebooks, pipeline orchestration tools, Azure Data Services, and CI/CD pipelines. • Demonstrated success building scalable data engineering solutions. • Role restricted to local candidates only.
