We are hiring a Senior Solution Architect in Belgium. You will design the backbone of a digital ecosystem covering Mobile, Web, and Backend frontend layers. Your mission is to keep the platform scalable, secure, and easy to evolve over time. Responsibilities include: Define the full platform architecture across all digital channels; Set clear engineering principles for long-term scalability and maintainability; Structure integration flows and define system boundaries; Align mobile, web, and backend consistency; Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture and security rules; Lead technical decisions and architecture governance; Shape API strategy and integration lifecycle; Evaluate frameworks, tools, and design approaches; Anticipate risks and design mitigation strategies. Hands-on scope includes: Drive architecture spikes and proof of concepts; Validate MVP technical direction; Review and challenge technical designs; Support engineers in implementation choices; Coach teams on best practices; Work with product teams on backlog shaping. Profile: Background in Solution/Software/Platform Architecture; Experience across mobile, web, and API ecosystems; Strong API-first mindset (REST, lifecycle, versioning); Understanding of BFF concepts; Cloud and distributed system exposure; Security-first thinking (OAuth2, OpenID Connect); Knowledge of observability and reliability practices; Agile environment experience. Soft skills: Strong systems thinking; Ability to translate complexity into clarity; Influences without hierarchy; Comfortable in unclear or evolving contexts; Practical and execution-oriented mindset. Location: Anderlecht, Belgium. Contract: 6-month contract (Hybrid with 2-3 on site) with possibility of renewal. Language: English mandatory, Dutch mandatory or French plus strong Dutch.
