We are hiring a Java Application Support Engineer for an onsite position in Abu Dhabi, UAE on a 6-month extendable contract. Candidates must have 7-10 years of total IT experience with 5-8 years specifically in Java Application Support. Hands-on experience in Core Java and Java EE technologies (JDBC, JMS, JNDI), IBM WebSphere administration and deployment, AWS cloud components and CI/CD pipeline, log analysis and application troubleshooting, UNIX/Linux with shell scripting, RDBMS (Oracle) and SQL, MQ operations, and basic infrastructure knowledge (firewall, load balancer, Kong, routes) is required. The role involves troubleshooting production issues independently and using monitoring tools like AppDynamics and ELK. Banking or financial application support experience is an advantage.
