Role & Company / Project Overview: Horner Recruitment is partnering with Valiant, an established national events and styling business, to recruit an emerging Project Manager / Project Coordinator - Events for a permanent full-time position in its Melbourne operations team based in West Footscray, VIC. From the Australian Open to the Grand Prix and major corporate events, you will help coordinate the furniture, people, transport, and logistics that bring events together. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Project coordination and scheduling. • Client and venue communication. • Event setup and pack-down operations. • Coordinating and managing onsite teams. • Overseeing logistics and warehouse operations. • Assisting in coordinating furniture, crew, transportation, and setup logistics for high-profile events. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Background or experience in events, staging, logistics, warehousing, removals, or furniture installation. • Organised, practical mindset with a proactive drive and strong communication skills. • Readiness to step up and take on increased operational and project management responsibility. • Full training and mentorship support are provided by Valiant to help build leadership and project coordination expertise.
