• Role & Company / Project Overview: HoverCo Building Services is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Project Manager to join our residential construction team on Sydney's Northern Beaches. Working alongside our Construction Manager and project delivery team, you will gain exposure to multiple residential renovation and construction projects across Sydney. This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently studying Construction Management, Project Management, Building, Engineering or a related discipline who is looking to gain valuable, hands-on industry experience. Applications are also strongly encouraged from carpenters, leading hands, foremen or site managers who have practical construction experience and are looking to transition off the tools into a project management role. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Assisting with the coordination and scheduling of subcontractors and trades - Monitoring construction programmes and project progress - Communicating with clients, suppliers and subcontractors - Assisting with quotations, variations and project administration - Ordering materials and coordinating deliveries - Attending site inspections and project meetings - Updating project management software and maintaining project documentation - Supporting the team to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Studying or completed a qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, Building or a related field, or has relevant on-site construction experience - Strong organisational and communication skills - Proactive, reliable and willing to learn - Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment - Good understanding of residential construction processes - Must hold a valid driver's licence - Experience with construction management software such as Buildxact, MS Project or similar platforms would be advantageous but is not essential • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Location: Northern Beaches, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia - Employment Type: Temporary / Casual (6–8 weeks) - Start Date: Immediate commencement preferred - Exposure to both on-site operations and office-based project management • Compensation & Benefits: - Paid opportunity with potential for ongoing employment for the right candidate - Practical experience managing residential construction projects alongside experienced construction professionals • Application Instructions: - Please send your CV and a brief introduction to the specified contact email address.
