Role & Company / Project Overview We are hiring a Databricks / PySpark Engineer for an immediate contract-to-hire (C2H) opportunity. The end-client name will be shared with qualified candidates whose profiles align with the required technical background. The interview process comprises two online interviews, followed by a potential third onsite interview. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Develop and maintain ETL pipelines and data processing workflows using PySpark and Databricks • Perform database query design, performance tuning, and optimization using SQL • Execute end-to-end data processing and transformation tasks • Collaborate with the team on data architecture and analytical problem-solving Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • Strong hands-on experience with Databricks • Excellent proficiency in PySpark • Solid background in ETL development and large-scale data processing • Strong SQL skills, including query optimization • Experience with Informatica is a major plus • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Only local US Citizens (USC) and Green Card holders (GC) are considered • An active LinkedIn profile is required • Candidates must be prepared to submit relevant work authorization and identification documents via the appropriate secure recruitment process Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details • Location: Waukegan Area, Illinois / nearby Wisconsin locations • 100% onsite availability is mandatory • Candidates must be strictly local to the Waukegan, IL area or nearby Wisconsin Compensation & Benefits • Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (C2H) Application Instructions • Please submit your profile through the specified contact channel for review and screening.
