• Role & Company / Project Overview We are looking for an experienced Lead Java Developer / Lead Software Engineer to drive technical design, development, and modernization of a large-scale enterprise Java platform. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Lead end-to-end development across backend services, APIs, UI, and integrations. - Drive architecture decisions and modernize legacy enterprise applications. - Oversee AWS deployments and improve application reliability. - Mentor developers and establish coding standards and best practices. - Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable solutions. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - 12–14 years of professional software development experience. - Strong expertise in Java (Core & Advanced) and Spring Framework / Spring Boot. - Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Batch, SOAP/REST APIs, and Microservices. - Hibernate/JPA and relational database design. - Strong SQL and MySQL / NoSQL skills, including query optimization. - Maven and multi-module application architecture. - Apache Tomcat or similar Java application servers. - Hands-on AWS experience, including ECS/Fargate, ECR, ALB, S3, and CloudWatch. - Infrastructure as Code using CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform. - Technical leadership, solution design, high performance architecture, clean code, code reviews, and mentoring. - Preferred Skills: React.js, Redux, Material UI; Docker and CI/CD pipelines; Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline/CodeBuild; Datadog, application monitoring, and production troubleshooting; AI agents, LLM-powered workflows, MCP, or enterprise workflow automation. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Walnut Creek, CA (Hybrid) - Work Type: W2 / Long-Term Contract - In-person client interview required • Application Instructions Kindly share your resume via the provided contact email address.
