• Role & Company / Project Overview: We are looking for a highly experienced Software Engineering Technical Lead to lead teams building scalable cloud-native applications on AWS. Local Chicago-area candidates preferred. Interview process consists of 1 virtual round. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Lead engineering teams in architecting and building scalable cloud-native applications on AWS. - Design and implement distributed systems, microservices, and REST APIs. - Oversee DevOps, containerization, and Infrastructure as Code pipelines. - Implement event-driven architecture and manage SQL / NoSQL data systems. - Drive observability, monitoring, and performance optimization across systems. - Mentor engineering team members and manage stakeholder communication. - Incorporate AI-assisted development methodologies. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Bachelor's degree required. - 10+ years of software engineering experience. - 5+ years in a technical lead / leadership role. - Strong experience leading engineering teams. - Excellent communication, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills. - Key Technical Skills: Java / Spring Boot, Microservices & REST APIs, AWS (ECS, Fargate, IAM, ALB, RDS, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager), OpenSearch / Elasticsearch, Docker & CI/CD, GitHub, Distributed Systems, Cloud Architecture, DevOps & Infrastructure as Code, SQL / NoSQL, Event-Driven Architecture, Observability & Performance Optimization, and AI-assisted Development. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Location: Chicago, IL (100% Remote, local Chicago-area candidates preferred). - Travel: Occasional travel to Chicago as needed. • Compensation & Benefits: - Contract engagement: This role is on C2C. • Application Instructions: - Candidates must share updated resume, location, work authorization, and availability via email or direct contact.
