• Role & Company / Project Overview: We are looking for an experienced Java Lead Engineer to join our engineering organization. This role focuses on delivering high-availability and reliable backend solutions, system architecture, and technical leadership across distributed engineering teams. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Lead backend software architecture, design, and development using modern Java stacks. - Build, deploy, and maintain robust RESTful Web Services and APIs. - Design and implement cloud solutions utilizing comprehensive AWS services including IAM, Kinesis, DynamoDB, API Stack, SQS, SNS, and KMS. - Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL Queries and Slick database interactions. - Drive DevOps practices, CI/CD pipeline implementation, and deployment automation. - Architect and guarantee high-availability, fault-tolerant, and reliable enterprise solutions. - Lead, mentor, and technically direct geographically distributed engineering teams. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - 10+ years of Java software development experience. - Strong expertise in Java 17 and backend development. - Deep experience with RESTful Web Services. - Hands-on AWS expertise: IAM, Kinesis, DynamoDB, API Stack, SQS, SNS, KMS. - Experience with SQL Queries and Slick. - Strong experience in DevOps & CI/CD workflows. - Proven architecture experience with high availability and reliable solutions. - 3+ years of experience leading geographically distributed engineering teams. - Strong technical leadership, architecture oversight, and mentoring skills. - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred. - Work Authorization: NO H1B. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States. - Work Mode: Hybrid. • Compensation & Benefits: - Compensation details not specified. • Application Instructions: Interested candidates please share your updated resume, Visa Status, and LinkedIn ID directly to the hiring contact.
