Role & Company / Project Overview: Talenton Staffing is hiring a Senior Data Engineer for a hybrid role. Candidates must have 10+ years of experience. Job type is W2/C2C. Note: Second-round interviews may be conducted onsite. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows. • Build robust data collection, integration, processing, and storage solutions. • Develop APIs and integrations for secure and reliable data exchange. • Support and enhance mortgage data platforms across the lending technology ecosystem. • Ensure data quality, integrity, performance, and system reliability. • Optimize existing workflows and implement data engineering best practices. • Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives. • Lead projects, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to architectural decisions. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 10+ years of experience. • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, and SQL. • Experience with Databricks, Azure, and cloud-based data platforms. • Expertise in data engineering architecture, data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and big data technologies. • Experience with data integration, processing, and management tools. • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead technical initiatives. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. • Experience in mortgage or lending technology is beneficial.
