Role & Company / Project Overview: We are seeking experienced Data Engineering professionals for a Senior Databricks Data Engineer / Data Engineering Lead position. This is a full-time role based in New York under a hybrid model. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Design, develop, and optimize robust ETL/ELT data pipelines. • Implement and maintain Lakehouse and Medallion Architecture. • Oversee data modeling, data governance, and data quality frameworks. • Execute performance tuning and cloud cost optimization across platforms. • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and effective stakeholder management. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 10+ years of overall experience in data engineering. • At least 2+ years of recent, hands-on Databricks experience. • Core Technical Skills: Databricks, Snowflake, AWS. • Programming & Tools: Python, PySpark, SQL, Apache Airflow. • In-depth expertise in Lakehouse and Medallion Architecture. • Proven track record in data pipeline development, data modeling, governance, and cloud cost control. • Strong background in technical leadership and cross-functional stakeholder collaboration.
