• Role & Company / Project Overview Bright IT Inc is hiring an AI-Native Staff Engineer for client Cotiviti. This is a remote contract role (C2C) in the USA. Candidates must be prepared to complete an assessment within 24 hours. Looking for professionals with 10+ years of lead experience (Staff Software Engineers, Senior Java Engineers, AI-Native Software Engineers, AI Orchestrators, or Java Full-Stack Technical Leads). Note that this is not a traditional AI/ML Engineer or Data Scientist position focused on ML model training; it requires strong Java Software Engineers with real hands-on AI-assisted development experience. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Build and deliver production-grade software using AI-native development workflows. - Leverage Claude / Copilot for code generation, debugging, testing, refactoring, and documentation. - Review and validate AI-generated code to ensure security, quality, performance, and maintainability. - Develop scalable Java backend services, APIs, and application components. - Design and optimize Oracle/PostgreSQL databases. - Guide a small engineering team and collaborate with AI-Native Technical Architects. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - 10+ years of lead engineering experience. - Strong hands-on experience in Java Development. - Mandatory hands-on experience with Claude AI / GitHub Copilot or equivalent AI coding tools. - Strong Oracle / PostgreSQL Database Design experience. - Proven expertise in REST APIs, Microservices & Backend Development. - Hands-on experience with Full-Stack Application Development. - AI-Assisted Code Generation, Debugging & Refactoring capabilities. - Expertise in Code Reviews, Automated Testing & Production Readiness. - Strong background in Software Architecture, Scalability, Security & Performance Optimization. - Demonstrated Technical Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration skills. - Visa restriction: No OPT/CPT, No H1B. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Remote – USA. - Job Type: Contract (C2C). • Compensation & Benefits - Rate: $60/hr on C2C. • Application Instructions - Interested candidates should submit their updated resume to the contact email provided.
