• Role & Company / Project Overview: SMTAutomation is seeking a skilled Controls Engineer for an upcoming legacy PLC engineering project. The consultant will be responsible for programming, updating, and troubleshooting legacy industrial automation systems. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Work hands-on with legacy PLC systems to ensure reliable automation controls. - Perform programming, modification, and troubleshooting on Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation platforms. - Utilize RSLogix 5000 Version 13 and RSLogix 500 for control logic implementation and diagnostic support. - Diagnose issues, optimize existing logic, and ensure smooth operational performance during the project duration. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Proven experience working with legacy PLC systems. - Extensive background with Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation hardware and software. - Demonstrated proficiency with RSLogix 5000 Version 13 and RSLogix 500. - Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting skills. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Project Duration: Approximately 5 weeks (200 total hours). - Schedule & Hours: 40 hours per week, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. • Application Instructions: - Interested candidates are requested to send their updated resume for consideration.
