Job description

Role & Company / Project Overview: Airswift has partnered exclusively with Elecnor to provide blue-collar recruitment delivery across their major energy transition infrastructure projects in Australia and New Zealand. We are seeking 10 Transmission Riggers / Linesmen with rigging experience to support various high-voltage power projects across New South Wales on a permanent basis. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Assemble steel lattice towers ("electricity pylons") including installation of associated anti-climbing devices, step-bolts, and safety signage. • Carry out stringing of new overhead transmission lines up to 500kV. • Perform high-risk rigging, erection, and construction operations safely in remote project environments. • Comply with all site safety, quality, and environmental regulations. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Proven experience working on transmission line construction and tower erection (consideration will also be given to telecommunication riggers with large tower experience). • Recognized Rigger qualification. • Must hold all relevant industry tickets: Working at Heights (WAH), Elevating Work Platform (EWP), and General Construction Induction (White Card). • Must hold full Australian working rights. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Various project sites across New South Wales, Australia. • Mobilisation: Return flights provided to Sydney, NSW from any city in Australia. • Working Schedule / Roster: 3:1 roster (3 weeks on, 1 week off), working minimum 10-hour days (up to 12 hours per day). • Paid Travel: Up to 8 hours paid travel time provided on travel days. • Employment Type: Permanent opportunities.
