• Role & Company / Project Overview: EMMS (Electrons & Molecules Management Services) is seeking a talented Site Engineer to join our growing team. At EMMS, we specialise in EPC Management for renewable energy projects, with a strong focus on solar and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Backed by a team of experienced professionals, we deliver innovative, efficient, and high-quality solutions that drive the transition to a cleaner and more sustainable energy future. This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced industry professionals and contribute to the delivery of utility-scale renewable energy infrastructure across Australia, gaining experience across multiple jurisdictions and managing complex project delivery. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Support the day-to-day delivery and oversight of construction activities, working closely with EPC contractors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and the wider project team. - Monitor and coordinate solar farm, substation, and BESS construction activities, providing day-to-day site oversight. - Review construction methodologies, plans, drawings, specifications, and technical submissions. - Monitor progress against the project programme and key milestones, identifying delays and supporting corrective actions. - Coordinate contractors, consultants, and suppliers, and resolve technical issues and construction interfaces. - Review and track requests for information (RFIs), non-conformance reports (NCRs), and associated actions. - Monitor compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements. - Support inspections, testing, commissioning, and verification of completed works. - Monitor contractor performance and compliance with approved designs, specifications, standards, and project requirements. - Track site risks, issues, and actions, and support cost, variation, and commercial management where required. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Relevant engineering background and experience in construction/site engineering. - Enjoy travel and managing tangible deliverables on-site, working closely with contractors, and seeing projects through to completion. - Strong technical and interface resolution abilities. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Head Office: Level 22, 120 Spencer Street, Melbourne CBD, VIC 3000, Australia. - Employment Type: Full-time. - Travel & Relocation: Willingness to travel and relocate to project sites across Queensland, Victoria, and New South Wales as required. Candidates should ideally be based in Melbourne or be willing to relocate to Melbourne to work from our head office between site assignments.
