• Role & Company / Project Overview El Dorado Offshore is expanding its offshore operations in Suriname and is actively recruiting an experienced, skilled, and safety-conscious Chief Engineer to lead offshore marine engineering operations. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Direct and manage all engine room operations, marine machinery, mechanical and electrical systems, and technical maintenance onboard the offshore vessel. - Ensure strict compliance with environmental and maritime regulations, safety standards, and operational guidelines. - Oversee fuel management, preventive maintenance schedules, and emergency repairs. - Supervise engineering personnel and report operational status to management. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Minimum 3 years of relevant offshore, oil and gas, or marine experience in the Chief Engineer role. - Valid onshore/offshore certifications, including BOSIET, FOET, HUET, and STCW, as applicable. - Valid OEUK/OGUK medical certification. - Valid Marine Discharge Book and applicable seafarer documentation. - Strong commitment to safety culture, teamwork skills, and physical fitness for demanding offshore operations. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Offshore Suriname. - Work Schedule: Rotational offshore schedule. • Application Instructions - Submit your updated resume and seafarer credentials to the recruitment team.
