Job description

• Role & Company / Project Overview El Dorado Offshore is hiring Able Bodied Seamen (AB) and Ordinary Seamen (OS) to execute deck operations, maintenance, and navigational watch duties for offshore projects in Suriname. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Perform general deck maintenance including chipping, painting, greasing, cleaning, and rigging gear. - Handle mooring lines, anchor operations, cargo lashing, loading, and discharge activities. - Serve as lookout or helmsman during navigation watches as required by watchkeeping officers. - Assist with launching and maintenance of lifeboats, rescue craft, and deck safety equipment. - Follow all maritime safety procedures, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and offshore safety standards. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Minimum 3 years of relevant offshore, oil and gas, or marine deck department experience. - Valid onshore/offshore certifications including BOSIET, FOET, HUET, and STCW (AB/OS rating certificates), as applicable. - Valid OEUK/OGUK medical certification. - Marine Discharge Book and valid seafarer documentation. - High safety culture, teamwork skills, and physical stamina for offshore rotational work. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Offshore Suriname. - Work Schedule: Rotational offshore schedule. • Application Instructions - Send your application and discharge book copies to the recruitment email.
