• Role & Company / Project Overview El Dorado Offshore is recruiting a skilled and safety-conscious Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) to support electrical, electronic, and automated systems for offshore operations in Suriname. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Manage, troubleshoot, inspect, and maintain all electrical, electronic, control, instrumentation, and automation systems onboard the vessel. - Ensure safe and reliable operation of power generation, distribution switchboards, dynamic positioning electronics, navigation, and radio communication systems. - Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, calibration, and emergency repairs on electrical machinery and systems. - Comply strictly with maritime safety rules, permit-to-work systems, and offshore regulations. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in offshore, oil and gas, or marine electrical/electronic systems. - Valid onshore/offshore certifications including BOSIET, FOET, HUET, and STCW ETO certifications, as applicable. - Valid OEUK/OGUK medical certificate. - Marine Discharge Book and official seafarer documentation. - Strong safety mindset, physical fitness, and proficiency in working rotational offshore schedules. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Offshore Suriname. - Work Schedule: Rotational offshore schedule. • Application Instructions - Forward your resume and certifications to the recruitment team.
