• Role & Company / Project Overview U3 Infotech is hiring a Senior / IT Engineer - Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) for a leading global high-technology / semiconductor manufacturing company based in Singapore. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Manage and support Oracle databases in a high-availability production environment. - Monitor database health, performance, capacity, and availability. - Troubleshoot incidents and provide 24/7 Level 2 production support. - Manage backup, recovery, failover, switchover, and disaster recovery. - Support database changes, releases, migrations, upgrades, and patching. - Perform performance tuning, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. - Maintain database security, documentation, and operational procedures. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. - Hands-on experience in Oracle Database Administration with strong SQL and PL/SQL knowledge. - Solid experience in backup and recovery, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. - Working knowledge of Linux/Unix, filesystem management, and Cron jobs. - Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills. - Able to participate in 24/7 on-call support. - Preferred Technical Exposure: Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, High Availability (HA) / DR, database migration and upgrades, Oracle patching, enterprise database monitoring tools, ITIL / Change management, and 24/7 production support. - Semiconductor or high-volume manufacturing environment experience is highly preferred. - Candidates with less than 10 years of experience preferred; applicants currently based in Singapore or Malaysia are preferred. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Tampines East Region, Singapore. - Employment Type: Permanent / Full-Time. - On-call: Able to participate in 24/7 on-call production support. • Compensation & Benefits - Exciting salary package plus multiple benefits. • Application Instructions - Submit your updated resume via email or reach out directly via Call / WhatsApp. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
