Job description
Role & Company / Project Overview: We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow CMDB Architect to lead enterprise-level CMDB architecture, implementation, governance, and optimization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, CSDM, ITOM, ITSM, and enterprise integrations. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Define and maintain enterprise CMDB architecture, strategy, roadmap, and governance. • Design scalable CMDB data models aligned with business and IT requirements. • Align CMDB architecture with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM). • Design and manage CI classes, attributes, relationships, and lifecycle processes. • Configure Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE) rules. • Implement CMDB Health dashboards and data quality controls. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 10+ years of overall ServiceNow experience, including 5+ years of hands-on CMDB architecture and implementation experience. • Strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow CMDB architecture and implementation. • Expertise in ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, ITOM, and ITSM. • Strong understanding of CSDM, IRE, CI relationships, and lifecycle management. • Experience with IntegrationHub, Service Graph Connectors, MID Servers, and cloud discovery. • Experience integrating ServiceNow with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). • Proficiency in REST/SOAP APIs, JavaScript, and ServiceNow scripting. • Experience in CMDB governance, health management, and data quality improvement. • Strong technical leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. • Proven experience leading enterprise CMDB architecture, governance, and transformation initiatives. • Required Certifications: - ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) - ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Discovery - ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Service Mapping - ITIL 4 Foundation or higher • Preferred Certification: ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Remote • Duration: 6 Months contract • Ability to work independently in a remote environment Compensation & Benefits: • Competitive engagement rates for 6-month duration.
