Role & Company / Project Overview: We are looking for a Database Platform Engineer with strong experience in Oracle, Sybase, SQL, and Python automation to support enterprise database environments and improve operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Support enterprise database environments and improve operational efficiency • Automate database inventory, account management, reporting, and compliance activities • Manage database users, schemas, roles, permissions, constraints, and triggers • Perform SQL query writing, optimization, and complex troubleshooting • Assist with database and cloud migration tasks Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Hands-on experience with Oracle & Sybase databases • Strong SQL query writing and troubleshooting skills • Experience with Python scripting and database automation • Knowledge of database users, schemas, roles, permissions, constraints & triggers • Experience automating database inventory, account management, reporting, and compliance activities • Experience with cx_Oracle, SQLAlchemy, PyODBC or similar libraries is a plus • Shell scripting – Bash/PowerShell preferred • Git/source control experience is a plus • Exposure to database/cloud migration is preferred • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Quincy, MA • Work model: Onsite 4 Days/Week • Employment Type: Contract C2C/W2 Application Instructions: Interested candidates can submit their updated resume for consideration.
