Role & Company / Project Overview: Spectech Qatar is hiring an experienced Welding Supervisor to oversee welding processes and teams on site. The position is ideal for experienced supervisors with an established track record in industrial fabrication and installation, especially in the Oil & Gas industry. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Supervise daily welding operations, fit-up, and welding fabrication processes on site. • Ensure welding procedures (WPS/PQR) and quality control standards are rigorously followed. • Inspect weld preparations, joint alignments, and completed welds for defects. • Monitor welder performance, qualifications, and safety compliance across all shifts. • Coordinate with quality control inspectors and piping supervisors to ensure timely handover of completed works. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Minimum 5+ years of relevant supervisory experience in welding operations. • Proven experience in the Oil & Gas industry preferred. • Thorough knowledge of international welding codes, fabrication standards, and inspection procedures. • Excellent supervisory, organizational, and team management capabilities.
