Role & Company / Project Overview: Hiring for a client in Pune for the position of Data Engineer – Business Intelligence (BI). The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on expertise in Cognos, SQL, BI reporting, interactive dashboards, and data warehousing functions. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Design, develop, and implement reports, dashboards, and BI solutions using Cognos • Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, analysis, and reporting • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs • Transform data into meaningful, actionable insights through data visualization and analytics • Optimize and maintain existing BI solutions to meet changing business requirements • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Cognos implementations • Handle Cognos helpdesk tickets and resolve queries related to reports and content • Prepare and maintain reports for data warehouse functions • Stay updated with new BI techniques and reporting best practices Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Experience: 3–5 Years of relevant experience • Mandatory technical skills: Cognos, SQL, Business Intelligence (BI) • Strong hands-on background in BI reporting, dashboard creation, and data warehouse workflows Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Job Location: Pune, Maharashtra • Employment Type: Full-time Compensation & Benefits: • As per industry standards Application Instructions: • Interested candidates are requested to share their updated resume with the recruiter.
