• Role & Company / Project Overview Hiring an Entry/Mid-Level Mechanical Design Engineer for a long-term contract position located in Plano, TX (Onsite). Looking for a motivated candidate with hands-on experience in CAD modeling, rapid prototyping, hardware development, and product testing. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Create and modify 3D CAD models, mechanical assemblies, detailed drawings, and engineering documentation. - Support product development activities, including concept design, prototyping, testing, and validation. - Develop and evaluate mechanical components, assemblies, and electromechanical subsystems. - Use 3D printing and rapid prototyping techniques to validate designs and improve product performance. - Assist with hardware assembly, integration, troubleshooting, and testing. - Analyze test data and use basic Python scripts for data analysis, automation, and test support. - Collaborate with electrical, manufacturing, and software engineering teams to resolve design issues. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, with 2–4 years of relevant experience. - Hands-on experience with Creo, SolidWorks, CATIA, or AutoCAD for CAD modeling and drafting. - Practical exposure to 3D printing, rapid prototyping, hardware development, and product testing. - Basic Python programming skills for engineering analysis and test support. - Understanding of mechanical engineering principles and electrical/electronics fundamentals. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills. - Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawing standards; exposure to robotics, mechatronics, or electromechanical systems; experience in a laboratory, prototype development, or product engineering environment. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Job Type: Long-Term Contract - Location: Plano, TX (Onsite) • Application Instructions Submit your resume to the specified recruiter email address.
