• Role & Company / Project Overview IT Heroes Inc is actively seeking a Sr. Data Engineer for a high-priority, leading client opportunity with Zensar / American Express. The position is a Full-Time W2 opportunity operating in a hybrid model based in Phoenix, Arizona. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Design, develop, and maintain robust batch and real-time data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). - Implement and optimize complex ETL/ELT data workflows using Cloud Composer / Airflow, Dataflow, and Dataproc. - Conduct advanced SQL querying and perform deep query optimization on BigQuery. - Architect and maintain enterprise data warehousing and dimensional data models. - Build distributed data processing applications and jobs using Python and PySpark / Spark. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - 10–12+ years of professional data engineering experience. - Must-Have Skills: - Strong Python programming skills. - Hands-on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience. - Advanced SQL and Query Optimization. - BigQuery. - Cloud Composer / Airflow. - Dataflow and Dataproc. - PySpark / Spark. - ETL/ELT development. - Data warehousing and dimensional modeling. - Batch and real-time data pipelines. - Visa / Eligibility Requirements: Green Card or US Citizen only. - Third Party Restrictions: Strictly no third-party candidates (C2C/1099 not permitted; direct W2 only). • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Phoenix, AZ 85004 (Hybrid model; post also references Austin, TX / remote flexibility in header). - Employment Type: Full-Time W2. • Compensation & Benefits - Full-Time W2 employment terms. • Application Instructions - Interested and qualified candidates should direct message (DM) or share their updated resume along with direct contact details to the recruiter.
