• Role & Company / Project Overview: Join Zeed Global's logistics operations team as a Customs Clearance Specialist based near Pulau Pinang Airport. The position manages end-to-end customs declarations and clearance operations, specializing in compliance and optimization for high-precision electronic equipment and logistics services. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Manage the entire process of customs declaration and clearance for import, export, and transshipment goods in Malaysia - Handle HS code classification, certificate of origin verification, duty calculation, and applications for duty exemption or deferment - Interpret and apply current Malaysian customs policies and regulations - Design optimal clearance pathways for high-precision electronic products to legitimately minimize duty costs while mitigating compliance risks - Maintain regular, effective communication with local customs brokers, customs officials, and inspection authorities - Independently and collaboratively resolve complex clearance issues, including inspections and disputes - Provide customs policy and cost data support to the Sales Center and Solutions Experts, contributing customs clearance details to bid proposals - Manage, organize, and archive complete documentation sets for each shipment to guarantee traceable records • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Experience: Minimum of 2 years of customs clearance experience in Malaysia; experience with tech hardware, telecommunications equipment, or precision instruments is highly preferred - Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Malaysian customs regulations, HS code classification, and Free Trade Agreement (FTA) applications - Education: Diploma or higher in International Trade, Logistics Management, or a related field - Certifications/Licenses: Recognized customs broker's license or relevant professional qualification is a strong advantage - Languages: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin - Soft Skills: Strong logical thinking, high data sensitivity, resilience under pressure, and ability to make prompt, compliant decisions in time-sensitive situations • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Location: Near Pulau Pinang Airport (Batu Kawan / Penang), Penang, Malaysia - Work Setting: Onsite • Compensation & Benefits: - Salary: RM 4,000 - RM 6,000 per month • Application Instructions: - Submit an updated resume directly to the recruitment team via email
