• Role & Company / Project Overview: Hiring for a Senior Data Engineer with 14+ years of experience on a C2C arrangement for the client: New York State Department of Financial Services (DFS). The engagement duration is 30 months starting November 6, 2026. The role focuses on delivering high-level expertise in Data Quality, Data Governance, Data Warehousing, and Financial Data. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Execute end-to-end data engineering and data management initiatives within financial and regulatory data environments. - Oversee and enforce data quality, data governance, data lineage, and metadata management. - Conduct data profiling, mapping, validation, and reconciliation across complex databases and reporting systems. - Develop robust ETL/ELT pipelines, data ingestion workflows, and workflow automations. - Implement data warehousing architecture and data modeling solutions. - Author comprehensive technical documentation, data dictionaries, and perform business and technical requirements analysis. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - 14+ years of professional Data Engineering and Data Management experience. - Extensive experience with Data Quality & Data Governance frameworks. - In-depth expertise working with Financial and Financial Reporting Data. - Advanced proficiency in SQL & Oracle. - Hands-on expertise with Snowflake. - Experience with Informatica, Collibra, or Alation. - Proven skill in data profiling, mapping, validation, reconciliation, data lineage, and metadata management. - Scripting and analytics experience using Python, R, SAS, and/or Excel VBA. - Experience working with reporting and BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Business Objects. - Strong background in ETL/ELT pipeline development, data warehousing, and data modeling. - Proven ability in business and technical requirements analysis and technical documentation. - Preferred Qualifications: 8+ years of financial/financial services experience; experience with enterprise Data Governance programs, Snowflake/Azure, or regulated financial organizations. - Visa Requirement: Any visa accepted. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Location: New York, NY 10004, United States. - Work Arrangement: Hybrid (50% Remote / 50% Onsite). - Interview: Video/Webcasting. • Application Instructions: - Interested candidates should apply by submitting their updated resume via email.
