Role & Company / Project Overview: WorkNovas LLC is looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to join our team on a 12+ Months Contract. We are seeking a strong BI professional with expertise in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, SQL, data modeling, and Microsoft Fabric. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Design and develop end-to-end Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models • Collaborate with data engineers on SQL Server / Oracle ETL & ELT pipelines • Translate business requirements into scalable BI solutions • Optimize Power BI report and model performance • Manage BI data governance, security, and compliance • Administer Power BI Service • Gather requirements and present insights to business stakeholders • Evaluate new Power BI and Microsoft Fabric features Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 8+ years of BI/Data Analytics experience • 5+ years of hands-on Power BI development • Expert-level DAX & Power Query (M) • Strong data modeling experience • Advanced SQL — complex queries, stored procedures & performance tuning • Power BI Service administration • Microsoft Fabric experience • Team leadership / mentoring experience • Excellent stakeholder communication and presentation skills Preferred Qualifications: • Python experience • CI/CD for BI deployments — Azure DevOps / Git • Microsoft certifications such as PL-300 / DP-600 Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Monrovia, California (Hybrid) • Duration: 12+ Months Contract Application Instructions: Interested candidates can share their updated resume with the hiring contact.
