Job description
• Role & Company / Project Overview Cho Choco is seeking a qualified Deputy Manager (Engineering) to support plant operations and maintenance within Mingaladon Township, Myanmar. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Collaborate with Manager and department heads to establish annual and long-range goals, objectives, work plans, policies, programs, and related matters. - Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for agenda items subject to approval by the board of directors. - Develop engineering operating budget for presentation to the general manager and board of directors; recommend purchase of necessary equipment and materials. - Approve the forecast of funds needed for staffing, equipment, materials, and supplies. - Approve expenditure and implement budgetary adjustments. - Mentor and provide staff development opportunities to assigned departments. - Ensure appropriate safety policies, procedures, and programs are effectively implemented; ensure adequate resources and priority are assigned to correcting hazardous conditions, and that applicable safety program activities are carried out. - Take action for continuous improvement of ISO, HACCP, and GMP systems. - Implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). - Support and lead the engineering team in the effective maintenance and operation of equipment, including utilities and the manufacturing plant. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. - Minimum 3 to 5 years of management experience in ISO, HACCP, GMP, and production & manufacturing processes. - Good communication skills. - Strong leadership and teamwork capabilities. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Mingaladon Township, Yangon Region, Myanmar. • Compensation & Benefits - Leave Bonus. - Annual Bonus. - Meals provided. - Ferry service provided (nearest pick-up points). • Application Instructions - Submit updated CV to the designated recruitment email address.
